Could you make Dragons Lair in AS3?
Back in the 80′s in the golden age of arcade games, there were several laser-disk based games. They were nothing short of amazing: Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace, and Cliff Hanger – to name a few. While the interactivity was kinda slim, the graphics were like watching a movie you could control.
The video played along, until an event came up, like an enemy attacking, or suddenly avoiding an obstacle, and you had to smack the joystick in the right direction immediately. If you were fast enough, the video continued with a heroic feat, but if you were too slow – you got to see your grizzly end. And plunk a few more quarters into the machine.
